MOSER DECORATED VASE.

Moser amethyst shading to clear square vase is decorated in a French style with an enameled bird with spread wings perched atop an enameled ball with a gold enameled garland framing the birds. The top corners have gilded banners descending from the top with gold enamel decoration. Vase is finished with a gilded band at top and bottom with gold enameled stylized floral decoration. Vase is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 31, plate 34. SIZE: 12″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection.
