G. Argy Rousseau pate de verre vase is encircled by a line of black wolves walking on the snow against a mottled purple and gray background. An additional band of snow encircles the lip. The wolves are nicely detailed and show no shading or bleeding of color. Signed on the side in cameo “G. Argy-Rousseau” impressed “France” in block letters on the underside. Pictured in the book G.
