G. Argy-Rousseau footed pate de verre bowl has blackberries encircling the interior and exterior of the bowl all done in dark purple against a frosted background. The bowl is further decorated with blackberry leaves and vines in the frosted glass. Signed on the side of the bowl “G. Argy Rousseau”. A similar vase can be found in the book G. Argy-Rousseau Glassware as Art by Janine Bloch-Dermant in the catalogue raisonne section pg 178, photograph 14.03. SIZE: 4″ dia. PROVENANCE: From a prominent Midwest collection.
