BOXED PADDY AND THE PIG BY STOCK.

A visually attractive toy of a butcher sitting atop of a wooden tub while driving his pig pulling the cart forward. Comical, colorful, amusing are just a few of the words that describe this classic German windup toy from the 1920s era. The box itself has a wonderful label picturing the toy and actually referring to it as “Paddy’s Pride”, a new original mechanical toy. Toy is in virtually unplayed with condition and just shows minimal wear/chipping to the litho. Box itself is virtually like a brick with all end flaps intact. Even the original colored string from Paddy’s whip is still present! SIZE: Approx 8″ l. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: As stated above. 1-14613 (750-1,250) – Lot 1093
