*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 OCTAGON BARREL, FULL MAGAZINE RIFLE WITH CRESCENT BUTT AND WINCHESTER HANG-TAG.

SN 435768. Cal. 44WCF. 24″ oct bbl, full magazine. All other features standard for this model. Rifle has a non-original Winchester Model ’92 hang-tag showing features of this rifle. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl and magazine retain 60% orig blue finish with high point wear, muzzle wear, and few slight scratches. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Receiver retains 10% blue in protected areas with balance drifting to a gray-brown patina. Hammer and lever show a gray-brown patina overall. Stocks are very good and full-sized with numerous scratches and dents commensurate with age of rifle. Stocks show an old varnish re-finish. 49971-54 TEP C&R (2,500-3,500) – Lot 1088
