*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE.

SN 988002. Cal. 44 WCF. 20″ bbl. Saddle ring. Straight grained American walnut stocks with carbine butt. Marble no. 11 front sight. Ladder rear sight. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 20% blue in protected areas with some marring and scratching behind the front sight and some muzzle wear. Sights are good. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Magazine tube retains 60% blue with some marring and scratching toward the front end. Receiver retains blue in protected areas with the balance blended into a silver-brown patina with carry wear. Saddle ring shadow is present. Lever and hammer retain 50% blue with the balance a bright silver-gray patina. Stocks are very good with an old varnish finish. Stocks are full-sized.
