THREE MT WASHINGTON LAVA GLASS ITEMS.1) Mt. Washington lava glass vase has corset-shaped body with flaring rim. The vase is decorated with colorful glass shards in brown, green, red, white and blue against a glossy black background. Unsigned. 2) Mt. Washington lava glass vase has bulbous body with slender neck and slightly flaring lip. The vase is decorated with colorful glass shards in pink, green, white, blue and grey against a glossy black background. Unsigned. 3) Mt. Washington lava glass bowl has flaring ruffled lip and is decorated with brightly colored shards in blue, green, amber and red against a glossy black background. The bowl is further decorated with gilt trim. Unsigned. SIZE: 1) 6″ t. 2) 5-1/4″ t. 3) 2-3/8″ t. PROVENANCE: From an Unreserved Texas Estate. CONDITION: 1) Some slight roughness to the edges of one shard, otherwise very good to excellent. 2) There are two areas of open bubbles surrounded by minuscule bubbles. One area is approx 1-1/2″ x 1/4″ w; the other is approx a 3/4″ x 1/2″ w. Both definitely from the making. 3) Very good to excellent. 51362-137 (1,200-1,800) – Lot 1078
