GUNTHERMANN DANCING COUPLE.

A very fine all-original German hand painted tin wind up toy from the 1920s era. Toy depicting a tuxedo gentleman and well-dressed dancing partner, when the toy is activated (mechanism contained within woman’s skirt) the toy will navigate the ballroom floor in a realistic manner. Toy retains a significant amount of its original paint which is slightly dull from sitting on an open shelf for decades. A minor cleaning with certainly bring out the coloring and paint lustre of this classic toy! Mechanism tested and in functional condition. SIZE: Approx 8″ t. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: Toy is in very fine original condition.
