THREE EARLY PRESSED COLOGNE BOTTLES.

1) Rich green glass cologne bottle has oval panels surrounding the bulbous body leading to a faceted hexagon neck, bottle is finished with a hollow blown faceted stopper. 2) Yellow pressed glass cologne bottle has oval panels with indented centers surrounding the body leading to a faceted neck, bottle is finished with a tear drop shaped hollow blown stopper with faceted top. 3) Vaseline colored pressed glass cologne bottle has oval panels surrounding the hexagonal body leading to faceted neck, bottle is finished with a teardrop shaped hollow blown and faceted stopper. SIZE: 1) 8-1/4″ t. 2) 7-58″ t. 3) 6-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: Dr. Robert LeVere Collection. CONDITION: 1) Some minor roughness to the outside edge of the lip with evidence of grinding. Some minor flea bites to facet and oval edges on both bottle and stopper. Neck of bottle has an internal line encircling the neck that at first appears to be an internal crack but upon closer examination is a thread from the making. Stopper is a perfect match in color, but is not a perfect fit. 2) Stopper has a small shell shaped flake at the top point as well as some minor roughness to the bottom edge, there is a white silica inclusion in the making of the stopper. Bottle has a small 1/2″ grind mark to the upper lip otherwise very good. 3) Some minor roughness to bottom edge of stopper, as well as some minor roughness to top edge of lip along with two tiny flea bites to the edge of one oval panel otherwise very good. 49726-58 (500-800) – Lot 1061
