WINCHESTER MODEL 1876 OCTAGON BARREL FULL MAGAZINE SPORTING RIFLE WITH IVORY BLADE FRONT SIGHT WITH SET TRIGGER.

SN 34150. Cal. 45-60. 28″ Special order oct bbl. Full magazine. Blue finish. Straight grained American walnut stock. Crescent buttplate. Sgl set trigger. Extra Lyman leaf rear sight. Julia in regards to your Purchase of an Ivory Object." This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Good. Bbl magazine tube show a plum-brown patina overall with some indication of touch up to the finish. Sharp markings. Sights are good, “certifiable antique ivory” front blade. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Receiver also shows a mottled plum-brown patina overall with some indication of touch up. Loading gate shows traces of fire blue. Hammer and lever are an even plum-brown patina. Set trigger needs adjustment. Tang screw has been replaced. Stocks are good with what appears to be a blood stain running down either side of the stock. Stock has an old varnish refinish as is slightly undersized at the butt.
