LOT OF TWO CARVED POWDER HORNS. 1) 8-1/2″ horn with shotgun measure marked “HR/1804/LANG./PENS” and incised with geometric designs. CONDITION: Small split at the wood base considerable insect damage around the top and base. Flask was partially cut to install new charger. 2) 7-1/8″ flattened horn with simple scrimshaw around the base, mostly of a hunter and ducks. Carved nozzle with notches around the edge. Brown band between mouth and carving. CONDITION: Very good. One long partial split on the side, not affecting the scrimshaw. 4-47330-122 FS595 (500-800)
