MOSER DECORATED PILLOW VASE.

Moser amber glass pillow vase has sculpted, applied, and beautifully enameled bird of prey resting on an oak branch surrounded by brightly colored enameled oak leaves and applied and partially gilded acorns. Oak leaf pattern extends around to the back of the vase and is joined by a brightly enameled flying insect. Vase is finished with applied rigaree and reeded feet, all with a bright gilding. Vase is signed on the bottom in gold “591/D180 MOSER”. Vase is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 5, plate 4. SIZE: 8″ t.
