MOSER DECORATED VASE.

Moser aqua blue opalene vase is decorated with slender brown enameled stems with green leaves and delicate pink enameled flowers. In between the stems and leaves is an enameled dragonfly that appears to be floating in the aqua blue water and four gold enameled fish are rising towards the dragonfly. Back of the vase is enameled with two simple cattails. Vase is mounted in a cast metal base with dolphin head feet and cattails rising from the back of the dolphin heads. Top of the vase is mounted with a cast metal rim and handles with fishnets encircling the rim, shells folding from the top at each side, and dolphin handles with cattails below. Enameled fishnet decorations descend from the cast fishnet rim. Cast metal mountings are finished in silver. SIZE: 13-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection.
