*NICE HANDLING PARKER BROTHERS DH 16 GAUGE SHOTGUN.

SN 103055. Cal. 16ga. Chambers 2-9/16″, 28″ Titanic Steel bbls, “0” frame size. Concave matted rib with red front bead in secondary hole. Chokes IC/FULL. Splinter type forend. DH style non-ejector receiver. Bird dog vignettes on each side of receiver; four game bird scene on floorplate. Typical DH scroll coverage on remainder. Dbl triggers. Semi-pistol grip stock with handsome grain. Blank initial oval on toe line. Parker skeleton buttplate. 14-1/4″ LOP. DAC 1-1/2″, DAH 2-3/8″. Automatic safety. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Jim Beckley. CONDITION: Handsome little DHE 16ga. Bbls retain nearly all of an earlier reapplied finish and ring nicely. Bores are bright and shiny with evidence of minor pitting. Typical DH markings. Receiver retains sharp engraving with remnants of a later applied case color in protected areas. Trigger bow bright blue. Stock and forend fit nicely. Repaired splinter area along top right side of top tang. Wood finish has been enhanced, skeleton buttplate is nice and has faded to silver with engraving worn. Forend has reapplied finish with wide borders and checkering slightly smooth.
