BELGIAN TRADE MUSKET. Cal. about 14 bore. Inexpensive, unmarked trade musket with 36-1/4″ oct. to round bbl with Belgian proof, small front sight, unmarked flat lock and flat sided hammer mounted in a straight grain, 1-pc half-stock with checkered wrist and large iron triggerguard that has a plain pineapple finial and long lower tang. Bbl has a single iron guide and iron nose pipe with a replacement swelled end ramrod. Buttstock has a small cheek-piece and smooth steel buttplate. 4-47052 JR459 (250-500)
