Daum bowl has cameo decoration of violets, stems and leaves surrounding the side of the bowl, all set against a mottled purple shading to white background. The violet flowers are beautifully enameled in shades of purple while the leaves are enameled in green with gilded highlights. Signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 5-3/8″ dia. PROVENANCE: From a prominent Midwest collection.
