GROUPING OF FOUR INTERESTING CAST IRON STILL BANKS.This lot has a nice grouping but all four banks have an issue. The Enterprise Independence Hall is for all intense purposes original, but it appears the small gallery on the right & left end where either never cast or have been broken and filed smooth. The Westwood Bronze Memorial bank produced by Service Foundry of Wichita, KS is an interesting bank usually found in a nickel plated finish and it appears that this particular example has had paint enhancement at some point and time. The Stevens cupola bank is an old repaint and there is damage/crack to underside of base. The small domed bank building is an aged old repaint. Due to condition, a very low estimate has been placed on these banks. SIZE: Varies from 3″ to 9″ t. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: As stated above. 1-14650-1, 1-14652, 1-14663-3, 14665 (400-600) – Lot 1037 Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll Auction - Fall 2014 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.
