S*MERKLE PERCUSSION FULL STOCK RIFLE. NSN. Cal. .52 smooth bore, 44″ oct. bbl. Marked in script on the bbl, the lock is marked “WARRANTED”. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina on bbl except at breech which is heavily pitted. Drum and nipple are replaced. Wood has several minor repairs. The side pieces of the patchbox have two breaks and a piece bent at the toe. Toe strap is a heavy replacement. Lock needs adjustment. 4-47431 FS306 (800-1,200)
