SN NS10729. Cal. 12 ga. 26″ bbl vent rib with ventilated side ribs. Right side marked in gold “SKB Grand Special”. 2-3/4″ chambers fitted for interchangeable choke tubes with IC & MOD tubes installed in gun. Sideplated boxlock action with detachable trigger assemblies. Trigger assemblies “A” and “B” have hand checkered 1/4″ wide triggers with similar pull weights. Pierced top lever, trigger guard and action have exquisite full coverage deep relief engraving with foliate scroll surrounding warrior goddess scenes on sideplates and warrior on floorplate. Engraving is signed by “S. Takeuchi”. Indentation in forward part of receiver has gold inlaid “NSKB”. Forearm and pistol grip stock of exhibition quality walnut. Features include contrasting wood grip cap, nameplate and toeline and borderless wraparound segmented fleur de lis hand checkering. LOP: 14-5/8″ over leather covered pad. Drop at comb: 1-5/8″; drop at heel: 2-7/8″. Weight 7 lb 13.6 oz. Housed in a black covered luggage case with New SKB maker’s label. Case contains four extra choke tubes, wrench and case keys. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Bbls retain nearly all of their bright highly polished blue finish.
