PAIR OF MOSER DECORATED EWERS.

Pair of Moser cranberry glass ewers each have a center sculptural applied and enameled parrot resting on a branch. The parrots are surrounded by brightly colored enameled oak leaves and applied partially gilded acorns. Oak leaf pattern covers the entire ewer. Pattern also includes some brightly colored enameled insects among the leaves. Ewers are finished with applied and gilded clear glass handles. Each ewer is numbered on the underside “2789/D180”. Pair is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 56, plate 65. SIZE: Each is 17-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection.
