CUSTOM ENGRAVED MARLIN MODEL 1889 LEVER ACTION DELUXE RIFLE WITH FIGURED STOCK.

SN 44927. Cal. .38 WCF. 24″ bbl, blue finish with gold inlay, highly figured checkered stocks with pistol grip. Accompanied by a small size period of use Elgin pocket watch, with fob. CONDITION: Very fine, as refinished after engraving. Bbl shows 98% blue finish with only slight wear. Bore is dark with strong rifling. Receiver retains 98% blue overall. Lever and hammer retain 90% blue overall. Receiver is engraved with scroll coverage and a vignette on left side of a hunter shooting a grizzly bear inlaid in gold. Right side of receiver shows a tiger and deer inlaid in gold bordered by gold line and scroll engraving. Hammer and lever have gold accents. Breech end of bbl is scroll engraved. Stocks are highly figured crotch walnut with fine checkering on pistol grip and forend. Forend cap has gold accents. Crescent buttplate retains 90% blue. Watch is in good condition and works.
