STORY UNDER HAMMER RIFLE. NSN. Cal. 50, 30″ oct. bbl. Original long tang sight has been removed and a more normal leaf sight installed. Marked “A.STORY/WINDSOR VT.” on top of the bbl in front of the replaced sight. Curly maple stock with iron mountings including the engraved round patchbox. Nipple and center ramrod pipe has also been replaced. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina over all with a number of dents on the sides of the bbl. Stock has been lightly cleaned but not sanded. Mechanically fine. 4-47231 FS700 (500-900)
