DAUM CAMEO AND ENAMELED CORNFLOWER VASE.

Large Daum vase has cameo cornflower decoration surrounding the cylindrical body all against a mottled purple shading to yellow background. Cornflowers with in the yellow background area are enameled in shades of blue and orange while flowers in purple background area are enameled in brown and cream. The foot of the vase is decorated with a gilded band of thistle cameo decoration and heavily enameled flowers. Signed on the underside “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 15-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From a prominent Midwest collection. CONDITION: There is a very small flake and 1/2″ scratch at the bottom edge of the foot, otherwise very good. 51158-61 (10,000-15,000) – Lot 1021
