PAINTED 1882 CHURCH BY KYSER & REX STILL BANK.

Kyser & Rex manufactured a number of still and mechanical banks, most being very visually appealing, as well as being highly sought after by collectors today. Oftentimes this particular example is found in a japanned finish. However, this particular bank is enameled in an off-white color with green roof & base and red door & chimney. Further complemented by gilt highlighting. Intrinsically this is a very aesthetically appealing bank with much attention to detailing such as circular shaped heart windows on left & right sides. A great bank in wonderful original finish and highly sought after by collectors of painted buildings. SIZE: Approx 4″ w x 3″ d x 5-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus. 1-14652-4 (1,250-1,750) – Lot 1009
