MOSER DECORATED PILLOW VASE.

Large Moser amber glass pillow vase is decorated with a brightly colored enamel bird in the center surrounded by sprays of colorful enamel oak leaves and a large number of applied and partially gilded acorns. The acorn and oak leaf decoration extends to the opposite side where it surrounds a blue exotic bird with wings spread. Vase is finished with an applied and gilded glass rigaree on each end and four applied reeded glass feet with gilded finish. Vase is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 4, plate 3. SIZE: 9-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection. CONDITION: There is a shallow flake approx. 3/8″ long across the lip at one end of the vase.
