MONUMENTAL DAUM CAMEO, ENAMELED AND JEWELED VASE.

Monumental Daum vase is decorated with cameo roses surrounding the bulbous base and extending up the tall slender neck. The roses are colored with translucent enamel in shades of red and pink with translucent gray stems and leaves. All set against an acid textured background of mottled yellow shading to white. The vase is further decorated with a cameo and enameled dragonfly hovering above the top rose as well as a butterfly near the middle of the neck. Random green and red cabochons finish the vase. Signed on the underside “Daum Nancy” with the cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 24-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: From a prominent Midwest collection.
