MOSER DECORATED VASE.

Moser amethyst shading to clear glass vase has a diamond shape and is decorated with sculptural applied and enameled buck and a doe. The vase is further decorated with deep intaglio carving of trees, rocks and grasses. The intaglio carving is highlighted and shaded with gilding. Signed on the underside in polished pontil “Moser Karlsbad”. Vase is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 26, plate 29. SIZE: 9-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection. CONDITION: There is a 1/2″ shell shaped flake at the back bottom corner and a tiny fleabite at the front bottom corner of the vase.
