SN 15738. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbls, ventilated rib, twin beads (front bead missing), 2-3/4″ chambers, chokes marked MOD/FULL. Top bbl right side “PRESENTED TO B.N. HONEA / BY AMON G. CARTER, MAY 5, 1945” inlaid in gold. Auto ejectors. Receiver engraved with touches of banknote scroll & floral engraving around game scenes. Left side scene of elk, right side with wild boars, bottom with birds. Single selective case colored trigger. Large beavertail forend with horseshoe cap at front. Stock configuration FKLT, Monte Carlo buttstock with black vented white line pad. Initial shield in toe line engraved “B.N.H.” LOP 14-5/8″. Non-auto safety. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain nearly all blue with light handling marks. Mirror bores. Receiver maintains nice finish. Gloss finish on wood with minor scattered handling marks, some marks under finish, checkering sharp. Top lever at center.
