G. ARGY ROUSSEAU “SPIDERS AND BRAMBLES” VASE.

G. Argy Rousseau pate de verre vase is encircled by bramble leaves in pink, green and brown with a white spider web between the leaves and a black spider in the center, all set against a lightly mottled cream background with purple, orange and green mottling. Signed on the side with impressed signature “G. Argy-Rousseau”. Vase is marked on the underside “7255”. The bowl is pictured in the book G. Argy-Rousseau Glassware As Art, by Janine Bloch-Dermant, in the catalog raisonne section pg. 181, figure 20.05. SIZE: 4-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: Dr. Robert LeVere Collection.
