A nice all original example originally owned by Ed Mosler (provenance sticker on underside of bank). A classic early mechanical bank depicting a soldier standing at attention at the front door, and when lever is activated, a coin slot appears and coins can be inserted into depository. Manufactured by J. & E. Stevens Co. This particular version has the lever to the front left side. SIZE: Approx 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ x 6″ t. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling.
