Argy Rousseau pate de verre vase has purple chrysanthemums surrounding the top of the vase with green centers in the flowers, black and green stems descending to the foot all set against a mottled cream, green and blue background. Vase is faintly signed on the side with impressed signature “G. Argy-Rousseau”. Bottom has impressed number on underside “3664”. The vase is pictured in the book G. Argy-Rousseau Glassware As Art, by Janine Bloch-Dermant, in the catalog raisonne section pg. 180, figure 19.01. SIZE: 5-5/8″ t. PROVENANCE: Dr. Robert LeVere Collection.
