*PARKER CUSTOM VHE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. Spectacular custom work with 26″ bbls built on a No. 000 frame, wonderfully engraved with coin finished receiver having deep relief arabesque patterns over the recoil shields, lever, receiver, top tang and trigger guard with patterns extending 3″ up the bbls. The bbls have a single wide gold band at the breech end and gold wire inlay around the side panels. The left side panel has a scene of three valley quail in deep relief gold with two woodcock on the right side. The floorplate has a deep relief scene in gold of two flying pigeons. The trigger bow is gold inlaid with floral and arabesque patterns and the serial number on the bottom tang is gold. Wood is highly figured French walnut with checkered splinter forearm, straight stock, teardrop side panels with light carving 14-3/8″ over a checkered butt. SN 217751. CONDITION: As new, appears unfired retaining virtually all its custom finish to both metal and wood. Bright shiny cleaned bores.
