LOT OF HIGH QUALITY FLINTLOCK PISTOLS INCLUDING S. NORTH 1822, BRASS FRAME O/U BOXLOCK BY MADSON & LABRON, HOLSTER PISTOL BY MARTIN AINGERS, AND A PAIR OF SCREW BARREL POCKET PISTOLS BY BLAIR & LEA.

1) S NORTH 1822. NSN. Standard configuration with back sliding safety, 1822 dated lock. CONDITION: Good. Heavily cleaned, inspectors mark filled with oil, ramrod bridle rivet partially detached, possible reconversion using old parts. 2) MADSEN & LABRON O/U FL. NSN. 1-3/4″ Barrels, 6-1/4″ overall. Stand of Arms engraving on frame, sliding safety. CONDITION: Fair. It operates but base plate is sprung, grip loose, frizzen spring ineffectual. 3) BLAIR & LEA F/L PISTOLS. NSN. Blair & Lea worked in Birmingham in 1784. 3-7/8″ Barrels with 2″ screw off muzzle sections, small side locks, brass mounted stocks with semi-relief sideplates and some silver wire inlay at breech ends of barrels. CONDITION: Fine. There is evidence of cleaning, which has toned back nicely. No noted repairs. 4) MARTIN AINGERS HOLSTER PISTOL. NSN. 7-3/4″ Steel Barrel. Deeply chamfered lockplate. Steel mounted with fine engraving, figured walnut full stock, relief carved. 14″ Overall. CONDITION: Good.
