*STEVENS NO. 49 WALNUT HILL SINGLE SHOT TARGET RIFLE.

SN 2685. Cal. 22 LR 28″ heavy round bbl, blue and case color finish, plain pistol grip stock with heavy forend. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 85% blue mixing with plum patina, some slight scratches. Bbl is marked “Stevens Walnut Hill”. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 90% case color finish. Lever retains 10% case color finish. Hammer is bright with some oil staining. Bbl mounts a Lyman 438-Field telescope with clear optics. Lyman adjustable tang sight and front globe sight with insert. Stocks are very good with handling marks commensurate with age. Forend is very wide and has a blued bbl band with sling swivel attached. Sling swivel on butt. Steel buttplate. Very nice Walnut Hill. 49510-8 TEP C&R (1,000-1,500) – Lot 1037

SN 540. Cal. 12 Ga. over .32-20. 27-3/4″ Krupp steel bbls. 3″ chambers. Chokes: MOD/FULL. Full length matted rib with adjustable rear pop-up sight and steel front bead. Double triggers, extractors, non-automatic safety. Splinter forend. Rifle bbl is actuated by a thumb pushed lever that is in front of the trigger guard and rifle bbl can be fired by pulling the front trigger. 13-5/8″ LOP over period Whippet ventilated pad. Full pistol grip stock. Splinter forend. Bottom of frame and trigger guard lightly scroll engraved, as are breech ends of bbl and forend iron. Weight: 8 lb 1 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, as refurbished. Bbls retain 90-95% of their restored rust blue. Buttstock and forend retain most of their custom finish. Buttstock with repair at frame on bottom right side, though now near invisible.
