FRENCH ENAMEL PLAQUE. Wonderful metal enamel plaque depicts two shadowy figures of women in green and blue gowns standing on shore beside a large ship. The plaque is done in an impressionistic manner and is framed in what appears to be its original wooden frame with enameled metal trim surrounding the plaque. The trim is decorated with art nouveau stylized flowers. There is also a metal twisted rope surrounding the plaque. SIZE: Plaque 9-1/4″ X 13-1/4″. LIMOGE ORMOLU MIRROR. Wonderful mirror has Limoge enameled scene of a maiden in distress being attacked by two bandits. The maiden is holding a hand mirror high above her head and looking into the distance as if she were signaling someone. The enameled panel is artist signed but we are not able to make out the signature. The reverse side houses what appears to be the original beveled glass mirror. The mirror and enameled panel are housed within an elaborate ormolu frame, which swivels within its matching stand which is decorated with lion paw feet and gargoyles. DUFFNER & KIMBERLY LEADED ORCHID TABLE LAMP. Extremely rare and beautiful shade has four central panels leaded to represent a gorgeous floral design in various stages of bloom. The glass used in the pattern is fiery orange, red and yellow. The glass is heavily textured or mottled giving more of a depth to the flowers. The background foliage is a multitude of greens set against an intense blue and purple striated background. These four panels are set in rows of geometric glass and in colors of blue, green and purple. The shade is supported by a base of simple art nouveau styling with vertical ribbing to central shaft and a large saucer foot. The base is complete with four sockets and pierced top cap with finial. Large geometric panels of spring green glass is the backdrop for this art nouveau floral pattern in warm hues of orange, yellow and cream with foliage in greens and blues. MORGAN ANTIQUE LEADED LAMP. Commonly referred to as the grape lamp, this shade offers so much more with its floral designs, variegated leaves and grapes. Morgan was unique in that they use chunk jewels of glass, raised glass and then striated and mottled glass which was more of the normal for the time period. This irregular border shade has vibrant colors of red, purples, pinks and yellows against a soft green and cream ground. The shade is supported by an equally rare decorated base with applied tendrils on the center shaft above an inverted saucer foot. The lamp is finished with two sockets, pull chains and finial. MORGAN LEADED PANSY TABLE LAMP. Absolutely the most spectacular Morgan lamp we have had the privilege to offer, with its hand-painted pansy flowers and fully leaded shade. Created by J. Morgan & Sons of New York, this tuck-under style of shade with irregular border is obverse painted to depict pansy flower in various stages of bloom. This enameled decoration on irregular shaped panels of glass give the shade a 3-dimensional quality very seldom, if ever, seen. The flowers are created in realistic hues of purple, blue, mauve, orange and yellows. The glass used in the flowers is a variety of textured and striated panels. Further accenting the shade are smaller green panels of glass representing the foliage. All of this is set against a soft green to white ground that allows the flowers to simply ignite. Shade is supported by a 3-socket single-stem base with applied metal tendrils ending in leaves, all on a circular organic-looking foot. PAIRPOINT OWL TABLE LAMP. Extremely important Pairpoint Puffy Owl lamp; this is the rarest and most desirable of all the Pairpoint lamps ever made and is only the eighth example known to exist. This highly graphic lamp features an exaggerated, blown out, molded shade resting atop a sculpturesque owl-shaped metal base. The owl has white feathers having light brown, yellow and gray highlights. The owl’s face features large brown and gold eyes and beak. The border of the shade is decorated with green foliage, pine needles and limbs. The cast metal owl base retains its original patina and glass eyes. The lamp is finished with a single socket and the original shade ring. A similar example may be found in the book, Pairpoint Lamps by Edward and Sheila Malakoff, page 12. GALLE FRENCH CAMEO AQUATIC VASE. Underwater scene depicts seaweed which is cameo and intaglio carved in several layers. This decoration is set against every shade of green imaginable. EARLY GALLE FRENCH CAMEO VASE. Exceptional wisteria decoration is done in a highly unusual combination of peach and cream coloration set against a clear hand cut background. Vase was done in two cuttings; the first peach cut to cream and the second is cream cut to clear. Vase is finished with a magnificent “Galle” cameo signature with highly stylized letters. This is most likely an early piece when Galle was transitioning from enameled decoration on clear backgrounds to traditional opaque cameo glass. SIZE: 11″ t. SUESS LEADED TABLE LAMP. Large irregular border shade is fully leaded with a large floral motif and beautiful hues of pink, rouge and lavender. The glass used in the flowers is nicely striated or mottled and gives the shade a three-dimensional effect. The blossoms have areas of foliage that they rest upon in emerald green. The background glass used in the shade is a soft yellow chiffon and represents light coming through the flowers. WILKINSON LEADED TABLE LAMP. Leaded water lily table lamp has very large apron of beautifully colored water lilies in colors yellow, cream, orange, red and purple with green leaves set against a striated ground of complementary hues. The upper portion of shade is of green striated geometric glass panels. The shade is supported by an ornate base having a brown to black finish with verde green highlights. The three-light cluster is finished with three acorn pull chains, top cap, and finial. The shade and base have a trademark Wilkinson lock-on feature. DAUM NANCY CAMEO FLASK. Green textured glass is decorated with a floral, foliage and vine pattern with gold highlighting on two-thirds of the flask. Further accenting this decoration is a silver applied collar, lid and removable silver bottom. When we generally see these models they are scent bottles. However, this piece has a slightly larger mouth then we generally see in scent bottles and the bottom silver trim is removable with no signs of being ever permanently attached and appears to be a small shot glass. HANDEL LEADED TABLE LAMP. Extremely nice Handel leaded table lamp has large shade with stylized overlapping leaf leaded design and striated green glass with a red glass border band. ANTIQUE LEADED LAMP. Large leaded shade has a five-petaled flower design throughout in colors of striated oranges and reds. ENAMEL DECORATED BOWL. Blue frosted glass bowl is heavily enameled with a blue bird in flight chasing an enameled butterfly with gilded trees and leaves in the background. The left side of the vase is decorated with white and blue enameled art nouveau style tulips. The vase is signed on the side with carved signature “Daum Nancy France” with the cross of Lorraine. BURGUN & SCHVERER VASE. Classic form vase depicts a gladiator with maiden each being nicely enameled in colors of white and pink. They are set against a gold and cutback ground with designs of drapes, columns and animals; the influential colors being gold, burgundy, green and white. This design is further enhanced on foot and collar with a black and white fleur-de-lis. The vase is finished with two applied glass handles that are further decorated. ARGY-ROUSSEAU PATE DE VERRE VASE. Wonderful Argy-Rousseau vase entitled The Garden of Hesperides (sometimes called the Apple Picker) has red-orange maidens picking yellow fruit. The vase has an outstanding coloration with the background being yellow, peach and frost in the upper half and more molten yellows, oranges and browns to the lower geometric portion. This particular example has minute detailing and is a superior example of this form. Signed “G. ARGY-ROUSSEAU” to the side of the vase and is marked “France” on the bottom. ACID CUTBACK ART GLASS EWER. Highly unusual red art glass ewer is acid cutback in black with Grecian figures. Surrounding the figures is a Greek key geometric pattern. Beautiful French cameo glass lamp base has deep amber acid cut cameo decoration of flower garlands, wreaths and pedestals against a shaded ruby to clear frosted background. All of the shades are done in a heavy peach colored glass with strong art deco design. The chandelier is suspended on a solid triangular shaped arm with matching ceiling cap. AUSTRIAN ART NOUVEAU LAMP. Austrian art nouveau style lamp has bronze base with flowing organic lines mounted with an art nouveau maidens head on the front of the vase. AMERICAN LEADED TABLE LAMP. Contemporary fully leaded shade has a green variegated background representing foliage and is accented by an allover pink floral pattern. The shade is finished with an irregular border. Supporting the shade is a three socket period base of simple art nouveau styling that is complete with three acorn pulls, top cap and finial. The entire lamp is finished with a desirable green/brown patina finish. Shade is marked “Handel” with an after market tag. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Lamp is 23″ t. Nice reverse painted hall lamp has two bent glass panels that have tight vertical ribbing and are reverse painted with a colorful parrot on a perch against a salmon colored background. The panels are housed within a metal open work frame with poppy design. The lamp is complete with ceiling cap and cast tassel. SIZE: 21″ from ceiling to bottom of tassel. TWO SINGLE ART GLASS SHADE SCONCES. Ornate brass sconces have heavily decorated wall plates with goose neck arm that is further decorated with acanthus leaves which supports two American art glass shades with green pulled feather design, gold trim all on a white ground. HANGING BENT PANEL LAMP. Bent panel caramel glass to top and crown of shade is further decorated with an ornate band of flat purple, blue and green panels with an ornate Art Nouveau filigree design. BENT PANEL HANGING LAMP. Bent panel hanging lamp with glass crown is made of caramel slag panels and has a fruit decoration of grapes, plums, cherries and pears with green leaves. WELLER BALDIN LAMP BASE. Nice Weller pottery lamp base is done in the Baldin pattern with red apples hanging from branches with green leaves surrounding the lower half of the base. The vase is finished with a multicolored glaze of red, green and amber. Impressed on the underside of foot “Weller”. SIZE: Pottery section is 12-3/4″ t. 23″ tall to top of harp. WELLER EOCEAN LAMP BASE. Very fine Weller lamp base has beautifully painted thistle design against a shaded green background. Signed on the side “E Roberts” and impressed on the underside “Eocean Weller”. The piece appears to be an Eocean vase mounted with lamp hardware. Vase has not been drilled for wiring and most likely could be returned to a vase if desired. SIZE: Pottery section is 15-1/2″ t. Overall 26″ t. PORCELLI STUDIOS LEADED LAMP. Outstanding fully leaded table lamp has a band of varying flowers. Colors are vibrant oranges, pinks, red and purples with a variegated green background. Behind this band of flowers are pieces of confetti glass that gives the shade a three-dimensional appearance. Geometric rows to the top and bottom are constructed in very intense blues and greens. Shade is supported by a nicely patinated three socket base complete with pierced top cap. Signed is signed “Joseph Porcelli”. SIZE: Shade is 22″ dia. Lamp is 26″ t. PAIR OF LEADED ANTIQUE WINDOWS. Attributed to Tiffany Studios these cathedral shaped windows have a shield as a focal point in cobalt blue glass with purple and green rippled glass around the shield. Surrounding this shield design are panels of blue striated glass which represents the sky. The windows also have ornate scroll work, columns with finials and hearts. This ornate decoration is made up of heavily mottled yellow, amber, blue and green glass. The windows are backed with layers of amber and blue glass. Finishing the windows are cathedral shaped oak frames. Windows are accompanied by a letter from Castle Studio Inc. of North Wales, Pennsylvania stating “that these windows have all the signs of Tiffany for several reasons. The glass chosen in the design is very reminiscent of the same style, colors and texture as many of the other Tiffany windows that I have studied and worked on. The windows are plated in the body of the design, a technique commonly seen in Tiffany windows. The lead has solder flowed over the entire matrix making it look like copper foil assembly but they are leaded windows. I have only seen this type of solder work on windows made by Tiffany & Lafarge…and lastly I have seen many examples of Tiffany windows that have a figural center with flanking lancets like the ones you own…I believe that you have part of a large design that may have been broken up for some reason.” SIZE: 25″ x 57″. PAIR OF FINE LEADED GLASS WINDOWS. Small window panels are heavily leaded with lavender and rum hued glass, green center medallions, yellow accents, jewels and are finished with dark green borders. Each has been nicely framed in oak. Windows are made of very high quality glass including a lavender drapery glass that shows some opalescence when lit. A dark olive green glass with dark amber swirls throughout that is very similar to glass shown in Dr. Neustadt’s book on Tiffany Lamp. While we do not know the maker of these windows, the workmanship and glass are the type you would expect to see in windows by Tiffany Studios or Lafarge. SIZE: 10″ x 20″. TIFFANY STUDIOS DOGWOOD TABLE LAMP. This shade is covered in dogwood blossoms comprised of white glass that is mottled, striated or transparent in certain petals with hints of green and amber. Each of the flowers has a center of yellow striated glass all on a green ground. The aperture has eight rows of geometric panels in complementary colors. From a botanical standpoint, this version of dogwood shade is considered the best since it is almost completely covered with flowers. The 22″ dogwood shade has been given a prominent position by collectors of Tiffany lamps because of its abundance of flowers, which is a desirable trait in leaded Tiffany lamps. TIFFANY STUDIOS LEADED TULIP TABLE LAMP. Rare-sized Tiffany lamp begins with an overall tulip pattern. The tulips are in various stages from buds to full floral bloom. The glass in the tulips is vibrant warm orange and yellow. The foliage is comprised of a multitude of greens from medium apple green to deep turquoise. Accenting the tulips is a fine background of confetti glass. This glass is heavily textured so it simply sparkles to give the effect of sunset, thus this lamp is commonly referred to as the Sunset Tulip. The style of the base is an urn shape supported by five Art Nouveau columns all resting on a round platform foot. The clock case houses a French carriage clock movement with visible escapement through glass in the top. The white porcelain dial has black roman numerals. Clock is complete with a replacement key. RARE TIFFANY STUDIOS INTAGLIO CUT LAMP. Lamp begins with a green favrile glass shade that is intaglio cut in several layers in colors of soft green, medium green and vibrant white depicting a floral design with long stem foliage. Shade is finished with a white cased liner for proper illumination. Supporting the shade is a single socket green favrile glass base. Shade and base each have an outstanding, matching iridescent finish that shows the spectrum of the color purple. Lamp is complete with a pierced top cap having a brown patina finish. Shade is signed “LC Tiffany 2406L” and base is signed “LC Tiffany Favrile”. SIZE: Shade is 7″ dia x 2-1/4″ fitter. Lamp is 14-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade and base are very good to excellent. RARE TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK CHANDELIER. Moorish-style geometric and turtleback hanging chandelier is predominantly constructed of heavily textured glass in yellows, cream and orange and is accented by two bands of emerald green Tiffany molded chunk glass. Lamp is further decorated with bronze beading, chains, balls and ribbon work. Illuminating this hanging chandelier is a four light cluster. An almost identical example of this extremely rare chandelier is pictured in Tiffany Lamps & Metalware by Alastair Duncan, pg. 324, image no. 1287 in original black and white Studios image. Leaded hanging lamp begins with a deep green translucent style of glass with dichroic acorns that when are unlit are yellow and green but when properly illuminated turn a fiery orange. TIFFANY STUDIOS ARROWROOT TABLE LAMP. Fully leaded shade depicts an artistic rendering of the Arrowroot plant’s life cycle. This design is comprised of mottled and striated spring green panels. Between and below each root are brilliant white flowers with yellow centers. Finishing the shade are geometric bands to top and bottom rims. The conical-shaped shade is supported by a single stem bronze base with inverted saucer foot, resting atop five ball feet. Three sockets, riser, wheel and pierced top cap finish the lamp. The entire lamp carries a highly desirable green brown patina finish with red accents. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York”. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 370”. This outstanding Tiffany Studios lamp base in the Venetian pattern has gilt bronze finish and wonderful detail with two rows of green glass jewels. Base supports a black eyed Susan leaded shade with striated brick background in lemon yellow to spring green is decorated with an all over pattern of Black-eyed Susan flowers in various stages of bloom. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 515”. We have been told that there is some questions regarding the authenticity of the shade, while it appears to be authentic to us, we will not guarantee it to be so. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia.
