RARE DAUM ENAMELED VASE. Extremely fine flat gourd shaped vase has enameled decoration depicting Rene II; the Duke of Lorraine. It depicts the Duke atop his horse with Cross of Lorraine decoration on the horses halter. Decoration is set against an opalescent, sandblasted background. Vase is further decorated on the backside with a round white border with red Cross of Lorraine and engraved depiction of a castle with a gold enamel spread eagle and flowing banner with Cross of Lorraine decoration and “Priny Priny” in blue enamel. Vase rests atop an applied opalescent and enamel saucer foot. The blue opalescent body appears to be dichroic and changes from blue opalescence to fiery orange when backlit. DAUM CRANE VASE. Exceptional Daum vase has cameo decoration of a pond with pond lilies enameled in shades of gray. The frosted glass pond gives way to a shaded blue night time sky with gold foil inclusions giving the illusions of a starry night. The sky is filled with cranes in various stages of flight. Long stems of delicate red flowers descend from the rim. Rim is decorated with a band of delicate gold swirls and red enameled flowers. DAUM CAMEO BOWL. Outstanding Daum bowl has cameo decoration of leaves, stems and berries throughout the interior of the bowl. Cameo decoration is done in mottled green and amber glass that inparts subtle fall coloring and looks almost as if it were enameled. The heavy clear glass background is acid textured and the back of the vase is a wonderful mottled red shading to orange and yellow. GALLE NAUTICAL CAMEO VASE. Unusual Galle vase has mauve cameo sailing ships in a harbor with a stone arch and trees visible next to the harbor. A full moon is depicted in the sky with seagulls silhouetted in front. Cameo nautical scene is set against a subtle light pink background. Signed on the side in cameo “*Galle”. SIZE: 14″ t. POTTERY CARD TRAY ATTRIBUTED TO GALLE. Nice card tray has a rolled rim with a dark blue center fading to powder blue having a rectangular card shaped design in the center surrounded by sprays of large pink petal flowers. The underside carries remnants of an original paper label from Ovington of Chicago. There is a very indiscernible signature or letters but it is certainly very similar to Galle-type pottery of the 19th Century. SIZE: 12″ l x 8-1/2″ w. EUGENE ROUSSEAU DECORATED VASE. Wonderful example of Eugene Rousseau’s work, this vase is created of crackle glass which is clear with light white mottling. Vase is internally decorated with two colored bands of mottled pink, orange, brown and yellow and is finished with two applied glass bands; one at the shoulder and one just above the foot. Signed on underside with etched signature “E. Rousseau Paris”. SIZE: 8″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66267 (700-1,000)

DAUM RAIN SCENE LAMP. Spectacular Daum cameo and enamel lamp is decorated with famous Daum rain scene pattern carried on shade and base. The detailed cameo and enameled trees are set against a frosted background with a band of rich pink encircling the middle of the shade as well as the middle of the base. Cameo carved rain drops extend diagonally around the shade and base to give the effect of being blown by the wind. The bottom of the shade and base is complimented with green enamel to depict grass and background trees. Signed “Daum Nancy”. This is one of the finest examples of the rain scene that we have had. MONUMENTAL DAUM CAMEO VASE. Very fine monumental Daum vase has cameo leaves, berries and thorny stems against a striated green, yellow and orange background. The cameo work is done in mottled multi-colored glass with rich autumn tones and nicely detailed carving. Foot of the vase has large bear claw design leading to three ribbed edges extending up the length of the neck. Signed on the side in cameo “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 23-1/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, there is a line of color on edge and bottom of foot which at first glance appears to be a crack. LE VERRE FRANCAIS VASE. Monumental vase in the Dahlia pattern features flowers shading from lavender to purple against a hot pink and mauve mottled background with a slightly flaring rim. DAUM WHEEL CARVED VASE. Beautiful vase has white daisy-like flowers trapped between layers of clear glass with wheel-carving to make flowers more realistic with green leaves and brown vines. The vase shades from amethyst to lilac and is randomly decorated with martele diagonal panels. The neck of the vase has icicle design descending from the lip. Although the vase is signed on the underside with a very faint “Daum Nancy” signature and it appears this very vase is pictured in Blount’s book French Cameo Glass , page 69, plate 90 and is identified as Daum. EARLY GALLE ENAMELED EWER. Exceptional piece of early Galle is done in amber colored glass and is heavily enameled with Victorian geometric design. GALLE ENAMELED VASE. Very fine Galle vase is a dark amber color with acid etched chipped ice finish. Vase is decorated with cameo and enameled thistles, stems and leaves. MONUMENTAL GALLE CAMEO VASE. Spectacular monumental Galle vase has extremely fine cameo pond scene with water lilies, tiger lilies, cattails and a large dragonfly. The water lilies are done with brown cameo lily pads and white flowers with blue highlights while the tiger lily is done in beautiful lilac with brown and amber stems and leaves. Water is depicted with light blue glass with a clear glass casing over the top giving wonderful depth. Vase is finished with a dragonfly in flight having a brown body and green wings. Signed on the side in cameo “Galle”. SIZE: 19-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Someone mentioned they thought the vase had been cut-down, but we don’t see evidence of this other than the dragonfly is close to the top lip. DAUM NANCY CROCUS VASE. Museum quality padded & wheel-carved Daum Nancy vase has three groups of crocus flowers with the first having a wheel-carved deep purple on white crocus flower, the second and third groupings with wheel-carved burnt red crocus flowers. Background is shaded purple to yellow mottling and is entirely wheel-carved with martelé design with the polished deep olive leaves being acid etched. RARE GALLE CAMEO TABLE LAMP. French cameo lamp begins with a domed shade depicting nicely carved cameo butterflies in earthen tones overall against a soft pink to frosted background. The matching base depicts earthen hued trees and foliage against a soft pink to frosted to medium brown background ending in a platform foot. Signed on the shade as well as the side of the base in cameo “Galle” with original three-arm spider to support the shade. This lamp has wonderful color match to the base and shade. DAUM NANCY CAMEO & APPLIED VASE. Stunning example of Daum’s work. Pink and white acid-etched marguerites with each having a foil-backed applied cabochon center. VIENNA BRONZE MOSQUE LAMP. Interesting bronze lamp is cast in the shape of a Mosque with the dome having stained glass windows and tower. When you look inside the Mosque there is a window with a painting or print behind that gives you the illusion that you are looking through the window to the outside and across the field to another Mosque. The opening is trimmed with a curtain cast in bronze with closed curtains cast on each side that are similar. The lamp is lit from the top of the dome as well as from the tower. TIFFANY MOSAIC PEACOCK CHANDELIER. Extremely rare Tiffany chandelier has peacock feather mosaic pattern done in iridescent favrile glass with colors of pink, blue, purple and green and the design is finished with a green swirled peacock eye. The iridescent favrile glass is set against a solid bronze flat conical shade and is lit by a very early six socket cluster with Tiffany chain hooks. Unsigned. The shade is pictured in Dr. Egon Neustadt’s book The Lamps of Tiffany on page 67, figure 96 as a kerosene chandelier. In Dr. Neustadt’s description he states that at that time, there was no other like it known. This rare piece was discovered in a warehouse in New Jersey where it had been stored for many years. Shade is topped with a twelve panel linenfold cap and rests on a wonderful Tiffany Studios base which has simple stem with flaring foot which is decorated on the foot with scroll design, which is repeated at the top of the stem. TIFFANY STUDIOS PRISM LAMP. Wonderful Tiffany Studios lamp has round bronze foot with four applied ball feet. Round foot has vertical rays extending outwards. The short stem gives way to six fingers which attach to a center cylinder forming the stem. Stem gives way to three arms which support the bronze shade which is open at the top. The bronze shade is impressed with a stylized design of concentric rows of stems, leaves and a blooming flower at the open center of the shade. The entire bronze section of the lamp is finished in a rich brown patina with strong red highlights. Shade is finished with gold iridescent favrile prisms alternating with drops of ball chain ending with a large ball at the bottom. The three pull chains have their original acorn pulls. TIFFANY STUDIOS SWIRLING LEAF TABLE LAMP. Very nice Tiffany swirling leaf shade has six-row geometric skirt leading to center wide band of swirling leaf design which is in turn bordered at the top by a geometric row of light green glass followed by three rows of dark green glass. Swirling leaves are done in a slightly opalescent cream colored glass with lemon yellow highlights, while the background glass is dark green and heavily mottled. Shade is signed with small tag “Tiffany Studios New York” and rests upon a wonderful Hampshire pottery base. The gourd shaped pottery base is encircled by a deeply incised swirling design and is finished with a matte green glaze. TIFFANY STUDIOS APPLE BLOSSOM TABLE LAMP. Very pretty Tiffany Studios lamp has apple blossom shade with mauve and pink apple blossoms and green leaves against a light yellowy-green background. The sets atop a Tiffany Studios three arm Grecian base with medium brown patina and light green highlights. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York” on a very small tag. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York”. Someone called and told us that this shade was actually a Unique and was pictured in Paul Crist’s book Mosaic Shades II, page 62. In researching we find the Unique shade was a very close copy of this Tiffany design as stated in Mr. Crist’s book, but a single row geometric border was added at the bottom. This exact Tiffany shade design and base are pictured in Tiffany At Auction by Alastair Duncan on page 149, photo 394. There is no question this is an authentic Tiffany Studios lamp. TIFFANY STUDIOS NEWELL POST LAMP. Wonderful Tiffany Studios newell post lamp has ball shaped reticulated glass shade with hinged lid on the top set with beautiful green turtleback tile. The blown out reticulated glass shade is done in rich green glass and rests atop a tall slender stem with impressed floral design and vertical ribbing. Foot and stem have subtle brown patina with heavy green highlights, while the metal portion of the reticulated shade has a rich reddish-brown patina with green highlights. ATTRIBUTED TO TIFFANY LEADED LANTERN. Wonderful hexagon shaped leaded lantern has geometric panels on all six sides with mauve colored diamond shaped center surrounded by beautifully mottled amber and cream colored glass. Top trim panel has center opalescent bullseye surrounded by the nicely mottled cream colored glass. Each panel is separated at the corner by a bronze ball chain with a larger ball hanging just below the bottom edge of the lantern. Top of the lantern is finished with a goose neck arm at each corner ending in a lily shade holder with three of the six lily shades present. Shades are green pulled feather design against an opaly-white background and each shade is signed “L.C.T.”. The leading on the glass panels is lead cane rather than copper foil. SIZE: Overall 18″ t x 16″ across at the widest. TIFFANY FOUR LIGHT TULIP LAMP. Fine Tiffany lamp has vertically ribbed foot with embossed shell design within the ribs. Four-arm stem gently curves and swirls leading to shades. A fifth stem extends upwards to gently wrap around the four-shade arms. Base has wonderful rich patina of dark brown with green highlights. Base is marked “Tiffany Studios New York 314”. Lamp is finished with four green pulled-feather corset-shaped shades that have gold borders, all on an oyster ground. Shades are signed “L.C.T.”. SIZE: Shades are 4-3/4″ t with 2-1/4” fitter rims. STAINED GLASS BANK WINDOW. Wonderful large leaded glass window has center lettering “Merchants Bank” in creamy white letters against a purple glass background. The purple glass framing the letters is set against a rich amber colored stained glass background and there is a nicely executed green wreath on each side of the lettering. Center of each wreath is a rich mottled maroon glass and the wreath is further decorated with a flowing pink ribbon design. The entire window is bordered with a band of geometric translucent green glass panels. The window is housed in what appears to be its original window frame that has had contemporary molding applied to the front to make it look more like a frame. SIZE: Window is 38″ x 122″. Overall is 43-1/2″ x 127″. CONDITION: Overall very good with one corner of the border glass missing and a few tight hairlines, primarily in the border. FINE ART NOUVEAU VASE. Extremely fine iridescent vase has green iridescent wave design around the organic shaped body with slightly iridescent cream colored background. Vase is encircled with gold iridescent random threading and is finished with a gold iridescent interior around the mouth. Similar vases have been sold by other auction houses as Tiffany favrile and this vase carries an original Tiffany paper label, however we are not positive it is a Tiffany vase. CHICAGO MOSAIC TABLE LAMP. Wonderful Chicago mosaic leaded shade has allover floral design with wonderful colors of pink, white and green against a light greenish-brown striated background. ART NOUVEAU SHELL LAMP. Fantastic Art Nouveau lamp has silver-plated base with figure of woman with long flowing hair and gown. DURAND THREADED TORCHIERE. Wonderful Art Deco torchiere has three scrolling legs with silver acanthus leaf decoration supporting a twisted four stem riser with the center twisted riser finished in silver and the three outside risers finished in gold. The three outside risers flare to support the shade mount and each riser is finished with a downward looking long necked goose head. The shade is held within a cluster of acanthus leaf design with silver patina. The shade is bright gold iridescent and is encircled with gold iridescent threading and is cased on the interior with white. SIZE: 70″ t.
