Webb vase with a cranberry red ground has beautifully detailed white-over-blue cameo decoration of a Rose of Sharon Hibiscus shrub in various stages of bloom rising from the foot extending upward to the shoulder, and two large white-over-blue cameo butterflies on the reverse. Vase is further decorated with triple band of cameo at the pedestal foot, double band of cameo at the upper rim, as well as a stylized floral band of cameo flower blossoms around the neck. MT. WASHINGTON ROYAL FLEMISH SNOW GEESE VASE.

Magnificent Royal Flemish vase is decorated with four snow geese in flight against a large sunburst with surrounding panels of blue and teal separated by raised gold gilding and stars. The collar is decorated with gold gilded stylized flowers and leaves surrounding three winged griffins all set against an amethyst background. The reverse of the vase is decorated with gilded stars between colored panels. A similar vase is pictured in Mt. Washington Art Glass by Betty Sisk, p184.
