JAPANESE WAKIZASHI AND YARI.

Wakizashi with 22-3/4″ cutting edge is signed “KUNITSUGU” with good temper line, gold and silver habaki and sharisaya with Japanese inked characters. Yari is 30-1/2″ overall with a 10-1/2″ 3-sided blade with sgl fuller, with lacquer scabbard. Handle is lacquered wood with brass and lacquered string mounts. Yari not taken apart to check for signatures as is tight and well fit. CONDITION: Yari is very good to fine overall with bright polish to blade, light staining. Wakizashi appears in polish with distinct wavy hamon all the way to the point. There are numerous laminations and kizu’s from many years of sharpening.
