SN 1016026. Cal. 30 WCF. 26″ oct bbl, full magazine with takedown feature. Full blue finish. Lyman front sight; sporting rear sight. Straight grained American walnut stocks with crescent buttplate. Bbl shows Model and Cal. designation on left side of rear sight with Winchester address on the right side. “WP” proofs appear at bbl breech and top ring of receiver. Upper tang is marked “WINCHESTER/TRADEMARK/MADE IN USA”. SN is stamped on the bottom from of receiver CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 80% of somewhat dull blue finish with some slight staining and high-point wear. Magazine tube shows marks from takedown. Sights very good. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 60% blue finish with some staining and handling marks overall. There is a slight shadow on upper tang where a tang sight was once mounted. Forward sight hole plug is missing. Tang screw is a replacement. Buttplate is a mottled silver/grey patina. Forend cap shows 50% faded blue with some handling marks. Stocks are very good, full size and retain considerable varnish finish with only slight handling marks overall. Mechanics are crisp.
