FANCY TOOLED SILVER MOUNTED ROPING SADDLE MADE BY EDWARD H. BOHLIN, INC., HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA.

Saddle is a russet brown color with high back, swells and a round skirt. Saddle has grapevine tooling all over and is decorated with very large floral decorated conchos on the skirt, fender and tapaderos. Seat back is also capped in silver. Maker’s mark appears on the seat. Rear of seat has a silver plaque marked “A.J. BLACKLEY”. Stirrups have very large floral decorated tapaderos. Saddle is equipped with light tan latigos with black lacing. PROVENANCE: The spectacular collections of Ray Bentley featuring the finest and rarest deluxe antique Winchesters in the world. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Saddle is completely intact. Lining shows wear. Tooling and marks are sharp. Conchos are fine. Latigos are intact.
