FINE PAIR OF GILT METAL STOCKED BALKAN FLINTLOCK PISTOLS WITH NIELLO ENAMEL, CIRCA 1820.

NSN. Cal. 20 bore. This elegant pair of pistols measure about 17″ overall with 10-1/2″ bbls, relief engraved with makers marks at breech. Stocks retain much of their orig gilt and niello enamel. CONDITION: Very good overall, steel is gray overall with staining and pitting, stocks retain about 70-80% gilt with balance dark mustard/chocolate patina with much of the dark enamel retained. One pistol mechanics are fine, the second will not hold on full cock and needs attention.
