*SCARCE PARKER BROTHERS CHE GRADE 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN WITH STRAIGHT STOCK.SN 128104. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ Acme steel bbls with 2-3/4″ chambers. Chokes mod/full. Full length matted top rib with replacement white plastic front bead. No. 2 frame. Dbl triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Straight gripped straight grained English walnut fiddleback buttstock with gold oval near toe and 14″ LOP over 7/8″ modern extension and 1″ black Decelerator pad. Buttstock is checkered in typical CHE fashion with checkered side panels and Fleur-de-lis behind action. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and steel tip, checkered in standard CHE pattern. Engraved in typical CHE pattern with pointer on left, setter on right, five birds on bottom surrounded by Parker scroll. Early owners initials “D.S.” (?) lightly engraved on bottom right receiver. All visible SN’s match. Bore diameter: left -.738, right – .742. Bore restrictions: left – .029, right – .022. Wall thickness: left – .030, right – .023. Drop at heel: 1-13/16″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. WEIGHT: 7 lbs, 9 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain nearly all of a restored rust blue finish. Action has gone gray. Engraving very lightly worn. Top tang has been blued. Trigger guard has been re-blued, engraving re-cut. Buttstock with extension as noted above is very good, checkering has been re-cut and shows losses near trigger guard at grip. Forearm is very good as restored, checkering thinned. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine.
