*SCARCE CUSTOM MARLIN MODEL 43, 12 GAUGE PUMP SHOTGUN WITH GOLD INLAY.

SN 9816. Cal. 12 ga. Matted rib 30″ fluid steel bbl with small steel front bead. Choke FULL. Straight grip buttstock with small plugged hole for sling swivel has 13-1/2″ LOP over modern Hawkins pad and is checkered in 3-point pattern. Checkered forearm. Left side of receiver with most intriguing gold inlaid signature which may be factory or may be period of use “H. W. Kline”. Remainder of receiver is unengraved except model number and SN on bottom. WEIGHT: 7 lbs, 12 ozs. PROVENANCE: Estate collection of Russell Grinnell. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains 95% orig blue finish. Receiver is excellent retaining approximately 90% orig finish with minor edge wear and toning. Buttstock and forearm retain most of their orig finish with scattered scratches and use marks.
