DAUM NANCY HANDLED DUTCH SCENE VASE.

Daum vase has bulbous body tapering to a smaller bulbous neck and flared rim, decorated with five cameo and enameled tulips of deep red and orange with green leaves and stems and gilt highlights. Reverse is decorated with beautiful enameled Dutch landscape scene of two windmills near a lake with a fisherman. Vase is finished with two applied glass handles and black enameled highlights, all against an opalescent acid-textured background. Signed on the underside with enameled “Daum Nancy” and Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 11-1/4″ t. PROVENANCE: Rudd Collection, Chicago IL.
