Brown Bakelite grips. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster marked eagle/swastika WaA 286, “P38″ on back. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection of Noted Expert and Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine retaining most of its orig finish overall. Markings crisp and clear. Excellent bore. Finish wear on high points and grip strap. Excellent grips. Excellent working order. Holster with light scuff marks, stitching is solid, clear markings. C&R 2) MAUSER P38. SN 690y. Cal 9mm. 5” bbl. Marked “P.38 byf/44”, SN, on left of slide. “WaA135” inspected. Brown Bakelite grips. SN on bbl, frame and slide are matching. “P.38v eagle 135” marked magazine. Accompanied by black leather pebble grain holster. Marked on back “cxb/44 P.38”. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Fine, retaining most of the orig finish with some exceedingly light surface rust on the bbl and slide. Excellent grips. Excellent bore. Excellent working order. Holster is solid with strong stitching. C&R 3) AC 42/WALTHER P38. SN 9155f. Cal. 9 mm. 5″ bbl. Marked “P.38”, “ac/42”, SN on left side of slide. Eagle 359 inspected. Has an “X” stamped to the right of the takedown lever on frame above the SN. Matching numbers on frame, slide and bbl. Black grips. “P.38v” eagle 135 marked magazine. Accompanied by black leather clam shell holster marked on back “dta/42”, “P38″, inspector’s mark is weak. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Very good, retaining most of the finish. Markings are clear. Excellent working order. Bore has slight roughness with strong rifling. Grips are very good with handling marks. Magazine appears to be refinished. Holster is solid with light scuff marks and good stitching. C&R IMPORT 4) WALTHER P38. SN 2304g. Cal. 9mm. 5” bbl. Marked of left side of slide “P38”, “ac/43″, SN. Marked on left side of frame SN, eagle/”WaA 135”. “WaA 135” inspected on left bbl lug and right side of slide. Right side of slide also marked with French 5-pointed star. Black grips. Matching numbers on slide, frame and bbl. “P38”, “jvd” marked magazine. Accompanied by a non-matching Interarms cardboard box.
