CUSTOM MADE CANDLE CHANDELIER OF BRASS & GLASS.The hanging chandelier having three rings in tiered format with the lower tier having an inset cobalt glass disc. The top rim with six S-form arms supporting a small candle cup & drip pan. All over with drop prisms and strings of prisms. The prisms are early and possibly 18th Century. Six blue glass bobeches (one repaired). SIZE: 24″ h x 27-1/2″ w. PROVENANCE: Downeast Maine home, descendant of Knud Rasmussen, famous Danish arctic explorer whose “greatest achievement” was the massive Fifth Thule Expedition (1921–1924) being sold unreserved.
