FINE FEDERAL MAHOGANY AND TIGER MAPLE SIDEBOARD.

First quarter 19th century, New York. The rectangular pine top with mahogany veneers and crossbanded edges above the conforming case fitted with a pair of aligned short drawers over a deep drawer flanked by bottle drawers over three graduated long drawers all with tiger maple facings; three with crossbanded mahogany borders. The case raised on French feet with deep scalloped apron. SIZE: 47″ h x 46″ w x 22-1/2″ d. CONDITION: The top with longitudinal shrinkage crack now stabilized and with various water stains, brass hardware later replacements but accurate period reproductions, otherwise good. 51376-56 (2,500-3,500) – Lot 2283
