HANDEL NAUTICAL TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has dome shaped shade with reverse painted nautical scene of a large ship at anchor with additional ships in the background and birds flying above. Reverse side of the shade has a rocky shoreline with knarley barren trees against a stormy sky. Exterior of shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on the inside rim “Handel 6802”. Shade rests on an original Handel base with circular body and applied handles with slender riser leading to a three socket cluster and fleur-de-lis heat cap with red-brown finish having green highlights. Further decorated with hand painted gold detailing with some wear. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade 15″ dia. Lamp 19-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with some very minor roughness to bottom rim. Base is very good to excellent with some minor blistering.
