ANSONIA SHORT DROP REGULATOR WALL CLOCK.First quarter, 19th century. New York. Regulator clock of typical form, with circular molded round hinged door, opening to the round dial, paper on tin, with Roman numeral chapter ring and time only aperture. Clock with spring movement above the molded throat with hinged glass panel door fitted with brushed brass pendulum. SIZE: Dial 11″ dia, 30-1/2″ l, 10-3/4″ w of throat. PROVENANCE: From a private Massachusetts collection. CONDITION: Movement appears clean and intact. Birch case with original darkened varnished surface. Good overall. 50800-124 (100-150) – Lot 3286
