Monumental Galle vase is decorated on front with harbor scene of two sailing ships with three men visible in first boat with rippling water below. All done in brown cameo. Backside of vase is decorated with three amber cameo glass birds in flight. Bottom of vase is decorated with band of brown cameo glass aquatic vegetation flowing in waters. All set against amber background shading to yellow, then to cream, then to amber at the top. Signed on side in cameo “*Galle”. SIZE: 15-3/4″ t.
